Sundae Monday - I Am Not A Crook

I have been accused of theft by some people who shall remain nameless (AHEM) for what was in fact a loving tribute. The whole thing reminded me of an earlier incident in all of our lives. Except this is almost nothing like it. And so I present the original:

The ripoff:

The main difference here is that Ice never gave credit where credit was due. And he made money off of it. And yes, Damian, that speech is awesome, which is why I couldn't resist putting it up here, of course crediting you with the general idea.

Ever hear the expression "amatuers borrow, professionals steal?" Anyway, it's all water under the bridge as far as I'm concerned.

I did just have a thought however (I know. I'll alert the media). Maybe you and I could share this feature. We could both highlight cinematic speeches that we happen to think are great (keeping track of which ones the other uses so as not to double-dip... unless one of us really wants to) because there are certainly a lot of great speeches out there in "movieland" that deserve mention.

Who knows? If we try hard enough, perhaps we could get start a trend, get everybody on the blogosphere doing it. :)

I would be glad to share the feature. After all, it's all about sharing. Sharing the feature and sharing appreciations of great speeches with everyone else.
